Contact Improv SRQ

Began in 2013 with workshops and explorations of both Authentic Movement, Ecstatic Dances and Contact Improv. The seeds that were planted grew and out of the pandemic sprouted into Sarasotas first Ecstatic Dance/Contact Improv retreat. The responses to the workshops and depth of the guidelines and space held inspired a continuing practice with many locals and the group CI SRQ formed.

We meet every Saturday 5-6:30pm at Soul Studios 2924 Hyde Park St. It’s a donation based workshop/jam. Pls text to check in it’s on…..
